Dave Ferro and the Stormwater Manual

Happy Thursday everyone!

Check out Dave’s editorial in the Gainesville Sun, running in this Sunday’s paper. It’s an important look at the stormwater manual and how it can be improved, calling for input from area professionals on how to augment a good idea into an even better one.

The article can be found here and is more of the quality work you can come to expect from Dave Ferro.

Ferro Commercial Realty Receives Award and Celebrates One Year Anniversary.

One year ago today Leslie and I opened Ferro Commercial Realty. We are extremely grateful to all of our family, friends, customers and business associates for the amazing support that we have received this year. Our business is growing and we consider ourselves blessed to be a part of the vibrant and talented Commercial Real Estate community in Gainesville.

This week the Commercial Realtors® Council held their 2013 Award Ceremony at the Gainesville Alachua County Association of Realtors® (GACAR), and I have been honored by receiving the 2013 Dean of Commercial Real Estate Award.

This award is given to Alachua County’s most outstanding overall Commercial Realtor® who contributed the most to furthering the Commercial Real Estate profession.

The award itself is simply a plaque, but the honor in receiving it is that I have been recognized by my peers for all of my efforts and am now counted among the ranks of those who have received it in prior years: Beau Beery, Todd Rainsberger and my mentor, Mike Ryals. These men are extreme achievers who have made and continue to make a positive impact on the business community in Gainesville. More importantly to me, they are friends and sources of inspiration, and I look forward to many more years of deals with them and all of my friends in the Gainesville Commercial Real Estate community. Thanks to all for a great year.
